There is actually a “Whoot There It Is” that was out at the same time. So it can get even more confusing. I remember in like 94 a local radio station was changing formats over the weekend. Friday was “Whoomp There It Is” on repeat, saturday was “Whoot There It Is” on repeat, sunday was “Rhythm is a Dancer” on repeat. I only remember this because I was at the racetrack all three days and it became a running joke with everyone in the pits. Every radio I came across I tuned it to that station and walked away.
